Event Sponsorship

Experience with soliciting sponsorships and selling events, knowledge in presentation making software such as Adobe programs. Dedicated to creating excellent events!

Qualifications:

Excellent written and oral skills, Familiarity with all social media platforms, professional demeanor, knowledge of MS Office professional, independent and team worker, sponsorship sales, business writing, creative writing, event planning, flexibility, goal oriented.

Position Duties:

Writing of sponsorship packet for each event, writing marketing proposals, writing of event proposals, marketing presentations, sponsorship sales

We are soliciting sponsorships both local and nationally for our events. This is commission earnings position. As you obtain funded sponsorships, you will receive a percentage of each of the events total budget that you secure.

 Video Editor Intern

This internship involves:

  • Creating short inspirational memes and videos

  • Producing/editing inspirational story videos using stock footage/photos and music

Social Media Intern

Administration includes but is not limited to:

  • Deliberate planning and goal setting

  • Development of brand awareness and online reputation

  • Content management

  • SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic

  • Cultivation of leads and sales

The Social Media intern needs to be highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as he/she engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of telling a brand story and connecting with our client’s audience.

Content management duties include:

  • Pilot the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.

  • Create a regular publishing schedule.

  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.

  • Create Monthly or Bi-Monthly reports illustrating the performance of our clients social content and traffic.

  • Work directly with team of designers and developers to create content for campaigns.

Responsibilities of the Social Media Intern Position:

The first responsibility of the Social Media intern is to develop and implement a social media marketing plan. The marketing plan will include the following components.

  • Brand Development

Essential Duties of the Social Media Intern

  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.

  • Develop relevant content topics to reach the client’s target customers.

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).

  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.

  • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.

  • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).

  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.

  • Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.

  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.

  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

  • Become an advocate for Twelve Eight Media, and clients in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.

  • Demonstrate abilities to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.

  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.

  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.

  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content.

  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.

  • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

Qualifications:

  • Strong familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media networks.

  • Moderate experience using the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Final Cut. (preferred but not required)

  • Experience using web and social media listening/managing tools.

  • Strong planning, prioritizing, and management skills

  • Experience answering phones and maintaining client relations

  • Must be able to receive school credit

Graphic Design Intern

We are looking for a creative graphic designer who has experience working on print and digital marketing content, including brochures, social media material, web design and HTML5. The graphic designer will constantly work with team members to deliver high-quality and engaging content for the company. The ideal candidate also has a vast understanding of digital marketing and has handled creative material for traditional and digital campaigns.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Working with a wide range of media using several different graphic design applications.

  • Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.

  • Working with team members to develop high-quality marketing content for company.

  • Create digital pieces for print and digital publication.

  • Working on digital marketing content, including social media and HTML5 content.

  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Assist team members with additional creative content, including copywriting and social media posts.

  • Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, Snapchat, YouTube, the company website, and various other platforms

  • Provide support to our marketing team at live and online events

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign.

  • Graphic Design & Layout Skills.

  • Creativity.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Prefer: Understanding of print & publishing.

  • Prefer: Understanding of digital marketing, including social media and HTML5

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills

  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas

  • Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines.

  • Available 15-25 hours per week

  • Current third or fourth-year student working toward Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or related field

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • In-depth working knowledge of all social media platforms listed above

  • Ability to accomplish tasks with limited supervision

  • Working knowledge of MS Office is required
